Your bridal trial is a fun experience and a wonderful part of your wedding planning process. A bridal trial is very important and is an opportunity for you to get to know your makeup artist and make sure their style fits your style. Being prepared is the key to getting the exact look you want!  I suggest to start by researching and putting together a Pinterest board of makeup looks you like and makeup looks you don't like! If there is anything specific that is very important to your look make sure you share that information with your makeup artist. Also, let your makeup artist know what colors you like on your eyes, cheeks, and lips. If there are any colors you don't like on your eyes, cheeks, and lips let your artist know that as well. Let your makeup artist know if you have any allergies or any specific concerns.

The bridal trial is an opportunity for the makeup artist to create your wedding day makeup. It's important to keep in mind that your bridal trial will be very close to your wedding day makeup but most likely not exactly the same. You may find that you want your eye makeup darker or lighter than you were originally thinking or maybe change the lip color. That's ok because that is what a bridal trial is for. It's also important to keep in mind that photography takes away 30% of your makeup. An experienced bridal makeup artist will know that balance of creating a beautiful look in person and on camera!  Most importantly don't be afraid to speak up, communicate, and have fun!
